When is it best to consume Epoca’s Cultured Beverages?

Epoca's culture dairy products can be consumed any time of the day: morning, afternoon, and evening. We recommend trying different routines to see what works best for you individually.

 

How many bottles of epoca cool are recommended for consumption?

We generally recommend two to three bottles to be consumed per day. Please try various servings to see what suits best for you.

 

Which live and active cultures are in Epoca’s probiotic dairy beverages?

Each product line contains a different variety of live and active cultures. Please refer to the product page ingredient lists for more details.

 

Should epoca’s probiotic dairy beverages be refrigerated?

Yes, all probiotic dairy beverages should be handled and kept refrigerated like any other dairy product. It is recommended they be consumed by the expiration date stamped on the bottle while being stored in refrigeration. Products may also be frozen for extended holding, if necessary.

 

Are Epoca’s products suitable for all ages including childreN?

Yes! All of our products are made for individuals of all ages and can be consumed as part of a daily balanced diet.

 

Is it safe for pregnant women to consume cultured dairy products?

Yes, cultured dairy products are safe for pregnant women, under the discretion and guidance from a healthcare professional.

 

Can I drink Epoca products if i am lactose intolerant?

Most of the lactose in our products has been reduced through its culturing process with the addition of live and active cultures, so it is recommended that the dairy products be consumed just as you would consume any yogurt. Research has indicated that cultured products such as yogurts that contain probiotic cultures can aid the digestive system through enzyme production breaking down milk sugar or lactose.

 

Are your products gluten free?

Yes, our signature product, Cool Plus is gluten free. We are continuing to innovate our product line to provide various and healthier options to our customers.

Where are epoca’s probiotic beverages made?

All of our products are made in the United States from our Los Angeles, CA and Oswego, IL warehouses.

Allergen Notice: Please note that our products are produced in a plant that also processes tree nuts.

 

Is it safe to consume Epoca’s products after the expiration date?

We do not recommend that our products be consumed after the expiration date printed on the bottle.

 

Are the bottles recyclable?

Yes, our bottles are recyclable!

All recyclers are required to accept our bottles and if they do not, you can report them by putting in a claim to CalRecycle for enforcement.

Why do you charge CRV for this small bottle?

We are required by the state government to implement a CA CRV on all eligible recyclable beverage containers.

We have no control in this matter or the cost of CRV implemented.

Local recyclers are required to pay more by weight for our small bottles compared to other bottles to compensate for the weight difference.

 

Why the addition of sugar?

Sugar is added to our products to enhance the enjoyability of our products. Please consult a healthcare profession for more guidance on consuming our products.

 

How do you open the lid?

  1. Start by lifting the foil skirt all the way around so that you have a good grip on the lid.

  2. Slowly pull away.

  3. If it doesn’t pull or starts to tear, try a different side.
